If you’ve ever tried to park in Olinda on a weekend, you’ll know it can feel like a high-stakes game of musical chairs.
Now, just to spice things up, the local council is proposing changes to on-street parking along Olinda Main Street. The once-limitless all-day bays may soon be chopped into a confusing patchwork of 1-hour, 2-hour, and 4-hour zones.
And the big concrete car park across the road behind Pie In The Sky? That one’s privately owned, and yes, you can park there, it’s just mostly paid Parking.
But here’s the good news:

To find us, head to the driveway directly opposite the Olinda Fire Station. Cruise on in, park like a legend, and you’re just a few steps away from the gallery, the darkroom, and maybe a cheeky coffee from Ranges Cafe.
There’s a short staircase leading up to the studio from our car park but if you need wheelchair access or pram-friendly entry, just take a gentle detour past Dudley’s to reach us via a step-free path.
So while Yarra Ranges might be tightening its parking rules, we’re still making space for you. Come for the community, the creativity, and the good vibes.
