Description
Looking to actually understand your camera, not just carry it? Our private photography lessons at Loop Art & Photo Space in Olinda are a fully tailored, one-on-one 2 hour session built entirely around you and your goals.
No group pace to keep up with. No generic slideshow. Just you, a Loop photographer, and two hours to make real progress.
Who this is for
Whether you’re brand new and still shooting on auto, stuck in a plateau and craving more control, or already experienced and ready to sharpen your style and business, we meet you exactly where you’re at.
- Complete beginners who’ve never left auto mode
- Hobbyists wanting to finally understand manual, lighting and composition
- Aspiring professionals refining their style, workflow or client-facing skills
- Anyone who’s outgrown YouTube tutorials and wants real feedback, in person
There’s no such thing as too beginner or too advanced here. You won’t be the least experienced person in the room, because it’s just you and your teacher.
What happens in your 2 hours
Hour one, theory. In the warm, cozy surrounds of the Loop studio, we work through the fundamentals that actually matter to you: manual mode, ISO, aperture and shutter speed, reading light, composition, or whatever’s been holding your photos back. It’s relaxed, personal and paced to how you learn.
Hour two, practice. While it’s still fresh, we take the camera outside for a slow walk through Olinda and the surrounding Dandenong Ranges. You’ll put the morning’s theory to work in real conditions, with hands-on guidance the whole way, so the lesson sticks instead of fading by the time you get home.
