It’s that time again, friends. Loop Zine is back for Issue #5, and we’re looking for your stories, your people, your wins (and your not-so-wins), wrapped up in all the messy, glorious, creative energy of 2026.

This time around, you get to choose your own adventure:

Adventure/Travel

We make photos to remember things, right? For Loop Zine Issue #5, we’re seeking adventure.

Been on a holiday? Travelled to far away places? Climbed a rock in The Basin?

Document it, write a tale, send it in!

What we're after

We prefer full articles, but this issue, we’re open to photo only submissions for an end-of-year photo album.

  • Articles & Interviews (preferred): 500+ words paired with your images. These submissions will earn you a complimentary copy of Issue #4 as a thank you for helping us fill its pages with goodness.

  • Photo-only submissions: Got great images but not feeling wordy? We’ve saved a section at the back for photos without articles. Titles are still a must. Contributors in this category will get a discount code when the zine launches.

Technical Bits (these are important)

  • Articles: 500+ words

  • Images: High resolution, 300dpi

  • File naming: ‘your-name-image-title-01.jpg’

  • Exclusive: want your story and photos printed? Keep it offline until after the Zine has launched. Any images we see online WILL NOT BE PRINTED

Deadline: November 10, 2025

Submission Guidelines

To submit your work for consideration, please follow these guidelines:

  • Written Content: Submit an article of 500+ words in a Word document format (.docx or .doc).
  • Photographs: Include 5-10 high-resolution, print-ready images in JPG format, with each image sized at no more than 5MB.
  • Personal Information: Include your name/preferred name, email address, and phone number with your submission.
  • File Submission: Send all files in a single package via WeTransfer with the email olinda@loopartphotospace.com or with the form below. Ensure that all files are clearly labeled and ready for print.

Contributor Rights

As a contributor, you retain full copyright ownership of your photographs and written work. However, by submitting, you grant Loop Art & Photo Space a non-exclusive, irrevocable right and license to use your images and words in the printed zine, on our website and social media, in posters, promotional material, and in any other way we need to promote Loop, the Zine, or anything related to Loop.

Review Process

All submissions will be carefully reviewed, spell-checked, and ensured they meet our ethical standards before being accepted for publication.
